The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has sanctioned a six-lane highway from Miyapur to Sangareddy.

The six-lane highway will be constructed by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) at a cost of Rs. 1,726 crores.

The NH-65 is a crucial road that connects Hyderabad to various parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It connects major districts such as Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar and Adilabad in Telangana with Nizamabad and other districts in Andhra Pradesh. The NH-65 is an important link between the two states and one of the busiest highways in South India.

The six-lane highway from Miyapur to Sangareddy will help reduce congestion on the existing four lane stretch from Hyderabad to Pothireddypally junction in Sangareddy district by diverting traffic from NH 65 onto this new stretch.
